The BBC has changed the format of the Sounds web-player to be more like the Sounds app: instead of always showing the player controls, they are hidden until you click on the bar at the bottom (left pic) which brings them up (right pic)

UK DAB news: the BBC has added R1Dance, R1Anthems & R3Unwind as DAB+ stations on its national multiplex; you'll need to rescan to pick them up. Other BBC stations have reduced bitrate to accommodate these, which may lower their audio quality, though this may not be the final configuration.

A tip for UK ex-pats whose BBC Sounds app has shut down: if your appstore account is still set to UK, and you can still see the Sounds app in it, try deleting and reinstalling the Sounds app, might get it going again for a few weeks; if that works, repeat as necessary...

I remember reading a comment years ago from someone who worked in a pub, saying that they used to play 'Voices' by Siouxsie & The Banshees on the jukebox at closing time to encourage any dawdlers to drink up and leave, as it was so weird and unsettling #stereounderground

@redsolver.dev I'm using #skyfeedback regex to find posts with radio & bbc, but when a matching post is a reply, the feed sometimes shows the preceeding post/thread too -- is there a way of omitting that context? (Bsky search doesn't show it, but the feed is more stable). My feed is SFradiobbc
