I would have liked more seasons of Victoria, but ending on the Great Exhibition is rather the pinnacle of her reign. I could not have coped with Albert’s death, anyway.

I’ve often heard the theoretical question: if you could go back to any time in history… I think I’d like to go see the Great Exhibition of 1851 and see the Crystal Palace. I’d love to see the exhibits but I’d also love to see the people, and their wonder at the modernization of the world.
