Gnomes in My Game™️ are just cousins of dwarves that live in the forest and became freaky little guys instead of stoic chunky stout guys. I'm in love with the idea that they are still mean looking and bearded but are just really small so people constantly underestimate them.

13th age 2e is THICC and has been a blast to read through. This, to me, is PEAK D20 heroic fantasy. Escalation die system is awesome and how it plays with cyclical spells is so interesting. A spell doing different things based off the state of combat is very fun design space.

I will always have an irritable little guy working in a tavern in my games that is constantly tormented by the players - they never clean up after themselves, rooms always full of gods know what, starting fights and bringing every manner of creature through the front door. Players in my draw steel game needed a cure for lycanthropy so I said cool: Go to the top of a hill basked in moonlight while bathing in the blood of a lamb. You must then consume the heart of a werewolf in its entirety. Great chance for "protect the guy" encounter too - I'm sending a dire wolf.

Watched Bram Stoker's: Dracula last night for the first time and man that film is a wild ride. Genuinely a great watch though. Bring back dreamy and crazy films. The sets have so much color and life and the costuming is next level. Coppola is so eccentric with his films.

#DrawSteel Session report: Players had a blast smashing some goblins in part 1 of the Delian tomb. Our troubador is a dual wielder rogue-type and she is just flying around the battlefield using double strike and then "dropping dead" with play dead to vanish and reposition. This shit rocks so hard

Pillars Of Eternity!!!!!! I know it technically already exists (thanks josh) but I would love to see a fully print, commercially available, robust system that stands on its own. Especially after Avowed and (hopefully) future games set in Eora, they have a gold mine of a setting.

Critical role not using daggerheart (their own system) seems....Weird? I get the system is new but they literally designed it to be a fiction forward game? Isn't that like, their whole shtick? It just seems like a huge blunder on the marketing side. (I haven't seen an episode since season 2)

When it comes to Wisdom and Intelligence in TTRPG's I've always told my players the following analogy: Wisdom is how vast your library full of books is, while intelligence is how fast you can locate EXACTLY which book you're searching for when asked for a specific one.
