I remember getting my first COVID vaccine in December 28, 2020. I teared up with relief because my city had bodies stored in refrigerated trailers and we had kids dying from COVID in our PICU. I got a COVID and a Flu vaccine today. I am still verklempt and grateful.

Vaccines are scrupulously and rigorously researched, trialed, tested and continuously monitored. I get a little tired repeating this but it’s important. They are not the villain but the potentially fatal diseases they prevent are. I and my colleagues have seen them all.

I want the record to show that PM Trudeau was instrumental in getting domestic manufacturing of vaccines in Canada. You know who shut down scientific research & drug manufacturing in Canada? Harper. When we talk about building Canada & being self-reliant, conservatives are all talk & no action.

The reason why this matters: We need the support of our professional orgs if we are going to be making recommendations beyond the FDA and CDC. There is always a risk of side effects so having institutional backing is appreciated.

This doctor (allegedly): - Destroyed $28,000 worth of vaccine doses - Made about $100,000 by falsifying medical and public health records for around 2000 people - Tricked children into thinking they were vaccinated by injecting saline The implications of dismissing this case are enormous.
