Good to see Laura Liptrot smashing it at this morning's Poetry Breakfast at the Court House in Dudley as well as the opportunity to perform (for the first time) 'On a declaration of independence', & 'Transformation' w/Laura Jane Round, the first poem we ever delivered together as Poetic Malevolence.

There's a pair of tales out in the Saelvatici world ... Elu is the daughter of Thoralf, headman of the village, but her mother ... this is a pair of tales about swans and boar, wild femininity and gods and belief.

To be level with the audience, to set the scene so they are there, in Sherewode, as outlaws, on a freezing cold night, a low fire is crackling and all their concentration is on the Skald.
