I just learned that I really *have to* check both "desktop" and mobile layouts when adding stuff to my website. Things have changed a lot in the 20 years since I was last playing with this stuff. After just 1.5 days live, I can see that phones account for 60% of my traffic. Crazy.

I first heard Nick Waterhouse play this on Loose Ends (BBC R4) a couple of years ago. I fell in love with the feel of this, and the bass work. So solid, so chill. And what an amazing album cover!

Found my CD copy of Martin Carthy & Dave Swarbrick's "Life and Limb". Bought at a gig, #Leicester Spread Eagle around 1990/91. I'd forgotten that Swarb signed the inlay. That was the night I gave him a lift home along the M69 after the gig in my rickety Ford Fiesta.

This celebrates the discovery of Richard III beneath Leicester's most famous car park, and also defends the city against Yorkists and archaeology against Steve Coogan.

Debating removing my TV from the living room to create more space for my record deck. TV gets used maybe twice a year, I watch everything on laptop or tablet. Meanwhile record deck has only 2 or 3 inches space above (suboptimal) and is used daily.
