Gorgeous scenery from our October trip to the entrance to Bandelier National Monument in New Mexico. It was too hot that day to hike the inviting trails but the dramatic drive to even getting to this spot is breathtaking.🌄 The Rio Grande River is at this location so we walked across the bridge.

1940 and still people cough and sneeze without covering their mouths. Science is hard.

When a class on making an English Tea was offered, a friend and I signed up.🫖 Afterwards I bought the little pans from a UK company so I could bake the tarts.🍥 Butter crust and assorted fillings that are all delectable. A bit fussy to make but always appreciated by guests.

The Biltmore Estate in Asheville NC is 8,000 acres and visitors can wander 75 acres of it. When I went with a friend we did the Candlelight Christmas Tour and the Behind the Scenes Backstairs tour. This is a December view of the property from an upstairs balcony terrace. Photo is mine.
