Out of the box idea. How about we just delay interconnection for new large load customers until we can actually supply them (and the entire system) reliably?

How about instead of an annual raise or indexing to inflation, we index it to the federal minimum wage? You give the lowest paid folks a raise, you get one yourself!

Okay, this is useful for data center comparisons: When we're talking about a 500 MW data center, we're talking about ~3.7 million MWh, or enough to serve 350,000 households. That's like half of Oklahoma Gas and Electric's residential customers. 1 uber data center = half OG&E households

Pretty strong disagree with this. $174k with great health care, a pension (a pension!) and a ton of time off is plenty. The problem is the money it takes to run, not the salary.

Can they build the data centers on platforms out in the ocean? High capacity wind (and add some batteries), easy access to water for cooling, no land use issues and no noise concerns. Everybody wins! 😁
