I have covered one or two governments that have lied about what they are doing. It's easy enough to just say: "The administration claimed x, but this is what witnesses saw." You often have to spend a lot of time in hospitals counting and examining bodies because governments do lie.

The expert scientists most certainly did not recommend beef tallow, butter, or whole fat milk. They recommended: Limiting food high in saturated fat and replacing them with plant-based alternatives where possible. Substituting butter with plant-based spreads or oils. Consuming low fat milk

Some thoughts on the dietary guidance that just dropped from HHS and the USDA. USDA is responsible for both promoting US agricultural products and for nutritional guidance. You can see the problem. This may be why products from two struggling industries—cattle and dairy—appear at the top.
