The companions in Veilguard feel like adults. Like accomplished adults who know wtf they're doing (well outside of Taash but we help them with that) It's nice to not just take up whomever is offering help and actually seek out experts in their fields this time.

I swear all I'm doing online now is defending the Lucanis relationship with people who were expecting the Suave Spanish trope and got the awkward trauma workaholic guy instead.

I'm waffling between being unapologetically aggressively progressive in my personal life and also keeping it completely hidden for my safety. I live in a state where not a single county went blue. Younger me would have been antagonistic. Older me with a small child of my own wants to survive.

So with the Secret Ending of Veilguard, with what I THINK they're trying to set up for the next game: What would make a perfect companion to the game would be a show about the first blight and how the concept of a grey warden came about. It would be a great segue into the nudging history thing.
