I've started building the beach house from Steven Universe, only to realize that the shape is simple but impossible to recreate accurately in TS4. There's no ethical consumption under capitalism, and it seems that now more than ever there's also no way to escape it. Everything sucks.

The hard truth I learned as a Sims 4 builder on YT: in general, the algorithm doesn't seem to like (or the watchers?) builds that aren't huge mansions/very normal-looking houses. I can now almost always tell when a video is gonna do poorly beforehand. It seems that creativity is not rewarded at all.

If this is happening to you, I've found a workaround online: wait. The pop-up with the error message will stay on, but the build will eventually save after like 3-4 minutes. When the build window disappears, click OK on the pop-up, and your build should be in your Gallery.

Sooo, I've been getting a server error every time I try to save builds to my Gallery since the last update (even without mods). Is this happening to anyone else?

YouTube finally broke my spirits, but I'm still building my castle. As much as I don't want to feel sad about videos performing poorly, it's very depressing to work on something for 20+ hours and see the algorithm punishing it for some reason. Or maybe my last two builds are just trash, who knows?
