I really want to start streaming, but it also gives me so much anxiety. And when I did tests, my stream was so pixelated when I moved the camera around (on Twitch), even though I have an excellent Internet connection. I wish I were 20, and all this were easy for me, but Grandma is struuuggling.

It's now clear that EA would rather kill the franchise by milking it dry for immediate financial gain rather than continue it and take risks to deliver a game made for its players. They could generate more revenue in the long run, but they don't give a shit about The Sims as a beloved franchise.

I 100% believe that the morale at Maxis is extremely low, and empathise with the developers. This does not, however, soften the blow of the marketplace existing as a model in the first place, and should not distract anyone's attention from the issue at hand. Some of you are too nice.

After forcing creators to make their content accessible to everyone and to limit early access, EA is shamelessly perma-paywalling CC. The "It's for console players" argument doesn't make sense. This is not a free CC management platform aimed at improving the gaming experience: this is a MARKETPLACE.

The way EA seems determined to alienate and push away its incredibly loyal fanbase of MANY years by making the greediest, most disgusting decisions regarding The Sims 4 is both fascinating and infuriating.

I'm gonna say it: I fucking hate how many creators I genuinely enjoy have agreed to participate in this.

I'm manifesting this. I hope they end up leaving the game alone so we can play it in peace. Over the years, the modders have been the main reason I kept playing, and I can't wait for them to take over the entire game and give us a better, more stable version of it (and for EA to forget about it).

God, everything I see about Royalty & Legacy and EA makes me feel so sad. I'm hoping for a miracle to save TS4 at this point. As a collector, I wanted to get the last EP of the franchise before the buyout, but since most of it seems to be recycled content, I question whether it's even worth it.

I know a lot of YouTube creators are in the same boat: people subscribe to you after one video and then just don't see what you post ever again. It is depressing and incredibly discouraging to work so hard only to realize that 10 to 20% of your audience actually can see what you post.
