For this week's paired reads, I'm highlighting two gentle, cosy sci-fi novellas. I figure we could all probably use that right about now. So take a look at Moonsoul by @nathaniel.luscombe and A Psalm for the Wild-Built by Becky Chambers (who always chooses absolute bangers as titles).

The fact this photo was taken 20 years ago is wild to me. Here we are in summer 2006 as teenagers. I don't often post photos of my other half on socials, but his hair is so long it basically conceals his identity. 😅

I'd agree with this! I tend to call it "cosy-adjacent." There are cosy elements, but also has some bite. The older versions were a bit darker, but I softened certain elements this time around. The series as a whole does trend towards hope, I'd say.

Please, never be shy telling an author you loved their books. It’s seriously what gets us through.
