Five years ago we lost the great Neil Peart, drummer and lyricist with Rush. A life tragically cut short when he should have been enjoying a long, peaceful retirement and a second chance at happiness. I wrote this song as my personal tribute to the man and his music πΆπ₯π¨π¦

I was at the Riverside on Saturday and reflecting on the fact that it's over 55 years since my Dad took me to my first Boro match. Boro 2-1 West Ham, FA Cup third round, 3 Jan 1970. Big cup upset that day, 2nd Division Boro overturning Moore, Hurst, Peters, etc.

Agreed. Another frustrating day at the Riverside. That early goal should have been the foundation for 3 points. Boro too predictable with their passing game, looked most threatening when someone (usually Dijksteel) carried the ball into the the Cardiff half. Final ball poor and lack of shots π

I'm still trying to get my head around yesterday's frustrating "game of two halves" that ended Boro 3 v 3 Sheff Wed. Here's a soothing pre-match pic for everyone's who's still wound-up. Match stats for Dad's lucky shirt now read: played 6, won 5, drawn 1

Not sure I'd describe it as awful, but certainly happy to keep a clean sheet and take all three points. Agree that Jonny Howson was fantastic, you can never write him off. PS I recognise that view, it looks like you sit v close to me π
