making the oc’s favorite songs playlists has actually helped me a lot with lore…like hm this could be a song their mother used to play a lot, or the song playing at the club when they met the love of their life, or the song they were listening to when they were running someone over w their car,

something I’ve never understood is the strange pride or feeling of superiority some people have over their peers who never left their hometown. to me it’s actually a huge triumph to be able to stay rooted. and wouldn’t you want to raise the community that raised you??
