I need football players and coaches to stop using the phrase "learning lessons" for my sanity.

Here's an idea: Maybe J.J. McCarthy should only throw to Jalen Nailor.

I do think McCarthy has played better today than he did against the Falcons, which isn't saying a lot.

I can really fathom the Vikings scoring 14 more points, though J.J. McCarthy has scored 21 fourth-quarter points before.

I also have some questions about the play calls/McCarthy decision making on that red-zone drive.

It only seems like the Vikings have 15 false start penalties.

The good news about this game is that the Vikings served root beer floats at halftime.

The Vikings are completely falling apart (again).

Jordan Mason (and Aaron Jones, for that matter) sure look like they could have gained one yard on third-and-1 at the 50.
