Always keep 'em guessing. Saturday we stopped by Late Night Ball, an initiative designed to create safe alternatives during hours when violence is most likely to occur, with Project sWISH. We are investing in safe, welcoming public spaces for our young people to gather.

Crime is down in Chicago. We are grateful for this progress, but we know there is more to do. I want to thank our police officers, first responders, violence intervention workers, and community organizations who all worked hard this weekend keeping Chicagoans safe.
