It's amazing what a competent doctor and the right medication can do. Less than 24 hours later and I'm already feeling better. Still not 100% but better than I've felt in days. If that first doctor had done his job I probably would be recovered by now. Fucking quack.

So I'm still not feeling any better. If there's no improvement tomorrow I'm going to urgent care again and getting another opinion because this is not just a "bad cold" and I think my "doctor" was an idiot.

Decided to go get checked out by a doctor and turns out my voice loss is just laryngitis brought on by a bad cold. Prescription: bed rest, cold meds, lots of fluids and dont talk. At least it's not COVID or something.

A truly well written, fun and enjoyable series.

Went from food poisoning to an upper respiratory infection and to top things off, I've lost my voice. I sound like Mickey Mouse after an all night cocaine, whiskey and cigarettes bender.

3.5k words on my new story, "Air E&V," and I still haven't gotten to anything beyond some light teasing. Damn me having to waste time setting up a premise and giving characters backstory that motivates their actions and not just letting them fuck already. Luckily the EV crowd loves a slow burn.

I often have to remind myself that my 1st draft doesn't have to be perfect. To accept that I'm going to over use words, write clunky sentences, unnecessarily repeat certain details or plot points etc. I just need to focus on getting the story out, smooth the rough edges later.
