What's taking so long? In short, Foxtail is very crunchy. The whole game is a crunch. We work on it after our main works are done. Evenings, weekends and vacation. Do we ever get tired? Oh, yeah. Will we quit? Hell, no.

The game that is currently available on Steam and GOG is built on the Wintermute engine. Since we parted ways with our programmer, we've decided we might as well switch to something modern and fun. We were missing so many opportunities!

New opportunities create new challenges. Leah's not supposed to go into the dark of the cellar. Maybe keyboard control gives her extra bravery. She says she won't, but her legs think otherwise.

The engine switching went so well that we decided to make Foxtail an action game after all. Just kidding. But this might actually be pretty useful on the testing stage. Which never ends, really. #indiedev #games #foxtail
