How I arrived on Bluesky: I managed to get an invite via a friend in July 2023, after looking for months to get in. I was fed up with Twitter and Instagram, and had joined too late to really vibe with them to begin with. I liked how easy Bluesky made networking with fellow artists and game devs!

In 2013-ish, a friend was wearing Google Glass at a party. They lent them to me, a skeptic, to try. I watched an episode of Batman: The Animated Series that had been uploaded to YouTube while pretending to listen to tepid tech bro party conversation. Still an awful invention, 100% should be banned.
