Seriously, this. I had major anxiety around dogs for a long time after one attacked me in a public park. The fact that that happened is not the fault of all dogs, nor all dog owners. I put in work via exposure to dogs of trusted friends until I was no longer having panic attacks in public.

I think the surreal and fucked up thing about AI media is that at best it produces stuff with cultural merit with zero-to-negative artistic merit and wrestling with that absurd duality is the first step in putting an end to it all.

I replayed Portal earlier this week. I still love it, fantastic game! It's showing its age in some of the visuals, but the gameplay and writing hold up great even 19 years later.
