my notoriously camera-shy (ironic, yes) ass got too lonely, figured i'd see what's goin' on up in dating site land got kicked four days in because "all photos must clearly show your face" and i have a big floofy fringe covering my eyes i uh i seem to be Too Emo For Love

Mark my words. If you stand up, I'll be standing with you. If you fight back, I'll have your back. If you fall, I'll pick you back up. If you die, I will carry on the struggle. I will do this because I know you would do the same for me. It is because of this that I know we will win.

I know you are scared precisely because I am scared, but I'm even more afraid of what could still yet come and know that the greatest danger is to do nothing. This is why I have no choice but to tuck my chin and walk forward with clenched fists.

We will find that our only safety lies in danger. If we run then it will still catch us, though when it does we will be alone and exhausted. But if we turn and face it immediately we will find that it is still weak and timid and we will find that we do not stand alone.

the end result: vegetarian chicken 'n' buttermilk biscuits with vegan new england style sausage and red onion gravy the marinade for the "sausage" was 1/4 maple syrup and sage by volume and on *god* you can taste it Ozark backwoods cookin' meets new England diner grub completely vegetarian.

you know i'm settled in when i have good cookin' goin' making mole and black bean chili tonite, got bell peppers roasting in the oven, about to start marinating tofu for vegan breakfast sausage so we can bake off biscuits and have biscuits and gravy tomorrow mornin' should be back on track soon <3
