i am still processing this but the new day job i was v. hopeful about was not a good or healthy time whatsoever and i am back on the job search will be re-opening commissions and back to finishing the new book tomorrow but atm i am just kind of gutted send good fortune this cat's way, imma need it

zoomies update: upping the ante second ever 10 mile run in 106:48 (have to split into two b2b sets by immediately hitting stop and reset because these treadmills stop at one hour) once a week on Sunday Runday till i hit sub-100 then we'll switch to 1/2 marathons once a week

good news! i am back to work serving good food for folk and makin' ends meet bad news: this means that the clippings book will probably not be out by the end of pride month. i will try to have it done and in print as soon as i can but i am only one cheffy cartoonist cat doin' her best

I want to emphasize this because it’s trans history. In the 80s and 90s a lot of trucking companies paid well and covered transition care. There were a lot of trans women that took jobs as truckers, transitioned, and quietly disappeared into their lives. Nothing white collar about it.

friendly reminders for pride month: * there's no "correct way" to be queer or trans * anyone who tells you otherwise is a sucker or a fascist * if someone tells you who they are, listen and care * if a fellow queer falls down, pick them back up * if a nazi falls keep them on the fucking ground
