#SFFChat Opening scene for The Ninth Drift. I hated it, hated writing it, hated the result, thought it sucked. Oomf encouraged me to post it in their discord server for feedback so I did, and everyone there thought it was great. I just decided I would get over myself and just fucking leave it as is.

Just picked up Of Mice and Men. It was one of the first books I remember enjoying as a teenager. I'm mostly reading it to help develop Enya's voice as a working class westerner in the early 20th century.
