Mine was a Bamboo too! It served me well from like 2009 all the way up into the late 2010's when I finally replaced it with a Huion 1060PLUS (which is what I still use)

I don't use Photoshop* or GIMP, but I wanna share in case this would be of interest to anyone! note this just changes the UI and shortcuts to feel like Photoshop, it doesn't seem like it adds any functionality that GIMP doesn't already have, but I'm sure this would still be useful to someone

I think the biggest damage to the art community was the obsolescence of gallery sites (y!, deviantart, etc) and the rise of scroll-by social media, like twitter and even tumblr. Art is not ''content'', you shouldnt need to post art every day (or every month!) to be relevant. This mindset sucks.
