To put tonight's 9-6 game in perspective: Carolina has given up fewer goals these playoffs (5) than either of these teams gave up tonight. The entire CAR-OTT series had a combined 16 goals, just one more than the 15 goals in tonight's game. It took CAR-OTT 273:04 to reach 15 combined goals.

It's actually quite simple. CPP is not general revenue. It's a pension program. CPP takes in revenue, invests it and then pays out pensions to retirees down the road. When investments do better than expected the pot becomes larger than pension payouts so you can reduce payments into the pot.
