Northbound 380 shutdown just south of Swisher grass fire

A big pot of charro beans seasoned just right is fucking magical. Four hours in and the beans are almost tender, giving it one more. Perfect side for a tostada? In a burrito? On a taco salad? I haven't decided.

Homecoming prep done. Last batch churned for a yield of 3 pints. Not shocked, PB base is thick and doesn't take up much air. Grand total is 4 pints chocolate, 4 pints vanilla w/smores cookie dough, and 3 pints pb with reeses/oreo cups. Should be enough I hope.

2nd batch of ice cream churned and freezing, with a 3rd chilling in the fridge to churn tomorrow. Depending on my yield I'll have 11 or 12 pints in total. So far I have 4 pints of good ole chocolate, 4 pints of vanilla with s'mores cookie dough, and a TBD amount of peanut butter with oreo pb cups.

I didn't get raptured so I churned my 1st batch of Homecoming ice cream and made up a 2nd batch of base to churn tomorrow.

Last homecoming I brought a batch of ice cream to tailgate. It was...an insufficient amount. This year I will not make that mistake. I will make MORE

It's been dry brining since 11. Now it's in the breville @ 200 super convection. Will sear @125 to bring it to medium. Tonight's veg will be sage butter carrots. Going for about 7 marijuanas.

If anyone wants to go shoot guns sometime let me know. It's been awhile and I feel like it might be a terrible idea to practice.
