Yay, the new clutch kit for my #Saab 9000 has arrived! Sachs Performance 240mm pressure plate DLI-Teknik 240mm 6 puck cerametallic sprung disc. Not sure if I will use the pressure plate at this time though, as I'm curious to find out how the stock one behaves with a disc like this.

I've also been preparing the "new" gearbox for my #Saab 9000. Will be going with a FM54003, final drive 4.05. Should make the car peppier in 3rd-4th-5th. Will also be upgrading to the larger CVs and driveshafts from the 185-200-225hp models (mine is a 170hp from factory).

Finally some Prelude progress today. Been waiting all winter for temps to be warm enough to work on it. First area now prepped for the first bits of new sheet metal. #Honda Ran out of gas for the welder though so will have to buy more on monday.

Deciding on a clutch setup for my #Saab 9000 is proving difficult. I'm currently running a stock 9000 Aero clutch but it can't handle the torque my engine is producing.

My Winter9-5 has been making a weird scraping sound the last few days.. Decided to troubleshoot tonight. Water pump is DONE. Had a brand new one laying around though so car is back to normal again now 👍 #Saab

Many years ago when I disassembled the engine from my white Evo, I was supid. I numbered the rod bearing caps but not the rods, and then for some reason decided to store them separately... so here I am now, trying to match caps to rods by wear, color, and manufacturing imperfections. #Mitsubishi

Took my #Mitsubishi Outlander Turbo ice drifting on a local lake today 😀 Probably did 20-30 laps. Super fun! Never drifted an AWD car before, it took a while to rewire my brain for it. Open diffs and very worn regular studded winter street tyres made it quite unpredictable. Here's a short clip:

Just ordered a 120000km 1996 gearbox for my 9000 with slightly shorter final drive ratio than my current gearbox. :) Now I need to decide what clutch disc to go with. #Saab

Changed rear springs on my Outlander today, hoping it would correct some of its Carolina Squat. Its definitely better now, but I'll have to measure the ride height tomorrow to see if its good enough now or not. #Mitsubishi
