Loved my december gaming. Age of Steam with the Sweden Recycling map was very exiting, I wish I could play AOS more often. Owner's Choice was also a great surprise. Railway Boom is not as unique as I hoped, but I still enjoyed it.

I did manage to squeeze some plays this month. Loved Colorado Midland, Confucius was an interesting discovery.

I was caught today by the thought with my #eggjam game Oeuf that maybe the egg-shape is getting in the way (specifically: that you spend a lot of your time orienting your egg in the right direction). I tried out with a spherical egg, but to my relief that was less fun! #godotengine

I did a game dev workshop last week in Paris with @kaplayjs.com. It was a great weekend thanks to the genius kids that came by. I was also blessed by sunshine ☀️ and by the invaluable help I got from the civic service team 💪 !

Had a blast this weekend playing train games with some veterans of the genre in Saint-Malo. A rich and inspiring experience ! Thanks to Alain and Xavier for hosting the event.

Very happy with my first workshop session about procedural generation. The participants were very into it and got a real grip on their protocols. Looking forward for the next session this week.

Currently updating my documentation on @kaplayjs.com. Doing my best to offer the most accessible experience, while remaining coherent and open to creative ideas.

Prototype for a procedural generation workshop. I tried different protocols today with interesting results. The bingo chips and spinner are very handy. Drawing colored chips to define colors works well, but is a little more laborious. Rolling dice turns out to be a bit too tedious.

Today I created images for stamps that I'll be using in my procedural generation workshop. Was heavily inspired by all the Bitsy gems out there on @itch.io

First draft for a workshop about procedural generation. The aim is to get children to imagine drawing protocols using a wide range of random inputs, and then see how it goes by manually executing it on paper with stamps.
