Got the run around from the Common Redstarts at Leasowe Lighthouse and the female Black Redstart wasn't much better, trust me its on the last photo (honest ) 🤣 #Ukbirding

🪶An excellent day out with @colscho1.bsky.social around Lancashire and North Cheshire. Most target birds seen in good time, including Bewick's Swan, Great Northern Diver, Marsh Tit and Kumlien's Gull. Dodgy record shots of each obtained. A bit of an eclectic mix!

A brew, a book, Football on the radio, and birds on the feeder from the window , it's a good way to spend a few hours 🙂

It took me an hour to catch up with the Kumliens Gull at widnes , a really smart bird but a pain to pick out in the sunlight, and I was getting plenty of questions from the workers 🤣 #UkBirding

Kumlien’s Gull……eventually showed well after an hour of sifting through the gulls on roof of WSR recycling Widnes.

A pair of Rock Pipit by the Tennis courts Hoylake/Meols ringed at Hilbre as part of a project, Blue ring CAX and CAF thanks @PhilWoollen for the information , good to bird with @petesutton1910.bsky.social definitely a good mornings birding

🪶Spent an hour at Meols/Hoylake over high tide... came away with a Little Stint, a nice female Reed Bunting and a couple of Rock Pipits with 'bling'. Not bad!
