There's only one thing on my mind today and that's One Piece. A coworker got caught up on the manga and we talked about it. Yesterday's episode of the anime was phenomenal. I have no room in my head for anything else. I should re-read the manga.

I couldn't sleep much last night. I went to bed around 2am, work starts at 7am. I'm now at the office disassociating, because I can't focus.

I've been reading a lot lately. I finished my book this morning before work, I also got bored of music and started listening to audiobooks. I should finish this book today too. Two books down right before vacation is a nice feeling.

I feel like all I do is complain about my job, but I couldn't log into one of our clients firewalls. I recalled that one of my techs factory reset it, turns out he never changed the password. So this device publicly available to the internet had a default password.... Why the hell did he do that?

I go on vacation Friday, and everyone in the office has decided to pile up work to give to me this week???? Why exactly did you wait until now? I need out of this company.p

One thing I like to do. If I see a person posting about their hobby and I know nothing about it. I like to comment and compliment them. I'll probably never see them again, but it's still cool that they made it, and I think we all should smile more. Post about your hobbies. I'll support you.

I don't understand how people use Windows. I just set up a new Windows installation on a PC I go to install updates. Updates are done I click the restart now button. And get an error that says "We're having problems restarting the computer, please try again later." Uhh what?

Weird issue today. We have a camera that only starts failing when the NVR tries to connect. If you access the camera by IP it works. Once an NVR attempts to connect it appears to get stuck in an initialization loop. I installed 3 different firmware versions and no fix. And used two separate NVRs

I've been trying to draw with CSS, and all my shapes were like layers of basic shapes. I learned about clip-path today, and my life with complex shapes is changing. Side note the Honeypot stuff is done, I'm just doing general website design because I gotta make it my own.

I want to experience One Piece with literally everyone. If you're watching One Piece I want to hear about your journey with it. It's just so good, and I love talking about it.

I got the privilege to see an early showing of Demon Slayer Infinity Castle. It was animated so incredibly well. Glad to see the story come to life.

Well the Honeypot ran for a week, and I have collected 26 malware samples I can look over, and a ton of logs! I'll be compiling the logs into hopefully a cool webpage I'll publish out so you can all take a look.

I have a question for anyone decent with json files. Sorry I don't normally mess with json. The Honeypot logged some Unicode escape sequences, \\u0003\u0016 etc. Trying to parse this in json just gives an error. Ideally I'd like to keep the escape sequences but I can't seem to figure out how.

Do you use local virtualization? I've been working in VMware workstation, it's alright I have a few complaints with how it acts in Linux. But I kind of want to rebuild my lab, and thinking maybe trying a new virtualization software.

Honeypot update. Been running for a little over 24 hours. I've got a small collection of samples. I'll probably let it run until Saturday, and then start compiling the data I gathered. I'm pretty new to reverse engineering, but I do want to look over the samples I gathered.

This had a few hits in the 6 hours I was asleep, but I'm pretty sure most people that got on the box said yeah this is a honeypot and took off. Guess I'll spin it down and take a look at making it more believable?

I can't sleep. It's pretty late, or early morning now. I set up a Honeypot and now we'll wait and see if it gets any hits.
