The Hunt Lab Guide to De Novo Peptide Sequence Analysis by Tandem Mass Spectrometry In BriefThis perspective celebrates the role Donald Hunt played in training researchers to manually interpret tandem mass spectra of peptides. We have adapted his teaching materials into de novo sequencing tutorials and have made available software tools to aid in calculations of fragment ion mass-to-charge ratios.
