Been looking at the possibility of video games costing 80USD. Honestly, we are paying very little for games vis-a-vis the dev costs of most games, especially AAA. And for the enjoyment and value we get, the cost we pay is pretty fair and a price increase is understandable. HOWEVER

As I watch “vloggers” who are really disinformation spreaders brought before Congress, I can’t help but think about the accountability social media platforms should hold. How many journalists and truth-tellers have they silenced and down-ranked? And how often have their algorithms boosted disinfo?

Adolescence on Netflix is pretty mind-blowing. Super creative in its execution of what might be a typical procedural. I love the narrative conceit and the technical mastery at play. So impressive. And I almost skipped because the title wasn’t interesting and I hadn’t seen any buzz around it.

As the end credits rolled on Combo on the Run and we left the cinema, we could hear the theater staff all singing along to “Ligaya.”

It’s crazy, but also par for the course, that the “arguments” that attempt to defend Duterte and justify the killing of tens of thousands are also extra-judicial, out of scope, and overly emotional. For supporters of such a supposedly hyper-macho figure, man, they are all just so emotional.

I’ve reached that age where scrolling through IG when I see posts about indulgent, amazing-looking food, instead of saying “where do I get that” I think “oh my I don’t think that would be good for me given my maintenance meds.”

Last night at the gym, I discovered I forgot my workout clothes. Ran into a store, saw a discount rack with shirts, grabbed an XL, then back to gym. During class I look in the mirror and realize it’s a woman’s top. Slit up the back. I said, you can pull off this top. And just went with it.

If you have zero education, but learn how to ask AI models the right questions , in many jobs you will be able to outperform someone with an advanced degree, but who is unwilling to use Large Language Models. Just takes a smartphone, curiosity to experiment and a mindset to learn.
