Every time Ware has these drifting games, someone (this time UD) lights a fire under him and he plays spectacularly

Rationally Bam should absolutely not rush back from a toe injury but I truly can’t watch this late game rebounding failure any longer

Everyone’s saying Miami should’ve kicked for 3. Washington gets the ball on a kickoff between the 35-40 yard line (if not worse) instead of the 2 yard line, they get into a much easier FG at bare minimum

Deebo Samuel has been 30 pounds overweight and injured for 4 years and yet has never had a a bad game against the Dolphins

The Heat have blown a double-digit lead for the second time this season. 22 blown double-digit leads last season, tied for the most by a team since 1996-97.

The Heat bench almost top to bottom was pretty awful tonight, that was the difference. Get Bam back soon

It is stunning how Miami has no shot at any defensive rebound as long as Bam is injured

Simone Fontecchio is Miami's like, 3rd best defensive rebounder and that isn't great

I have been critical so I have to say that was a tremendous Kel'el Ware game. He missed his first 5 shots but never stopped playing hard throughout facing a tough frontcourt without Bam

NBA Net Rating has crossed the threshold where it is now more real than noise. This is one of my favorite stats as 20-of-the-past-22 NBA champions finished the regular season top-5 in this stat. CURRENT TOP 5: Thunder +13.9 Nuggets +11.8 Rockets +11.1 Pistons +7.7 Heat +7.3

The Heat will legitimately go the rest of my life losing every single game to Denver, usually in a blowout. That is very funny, to me

I think the Niko Jovic career arc amounts to: he's a 38% three point shooter, but that 38% is attained via such ridiculous night-to-night shooting variance that he either looks incredible or unplayable with no in-between

Had upper-tier star potential but those injuries left him a shell of himself. Will not miss his near-sacks that turn into 40 yard plays

Watching the Spurs play defense is crazy. Even when Wemby is not actively grabbing blocks and rebounds effortlessly with one hand he is just chilling and emitting gravitational forces that simply compel the ball to him

Jaime Jaquez Jr. is +103 through 4 games this season. Per
@stathead.com
, that's the highest plus-minus to start the season plus-minus was tracked in 1996! Heat have been outscored by 40 points with Jaquez Jr. off court this season.

Hornets came in with 2nd ranked offense at 125.6 according to cleaning the glass. Heat have held them to a 111 offensive rating so far.
