My bike met a friend today. Who knows what they talked about while I had a coffee meeting.

Since starting my ebike commuting adventure on Monday, I’ve totaled 1hr 48min of travel time, which consists of roughly 18 minutes to work and 18 minutes back home. Considering the time it took me to get to work (40ish min) and back (45-70 min) 3 days a week, I’d say this is a win. Bikes = freedom

Quick ride to the park for some catch earlier this evening. We got to watch a game of Cricket unfold, too, which was awesome. Love being able to get on the ebike and get everywhere we need to go, all while leaving the car at home.

Basallo is already doing so much to show the monetary value of his 8yr extension is a bargain and a half. Love this dude.

First pickup and haul on the ebike didn’t disappoint.

Hell yeah. Took a ride on my new ebike with my 9yo, who said “it’s so much fun to be out on a ride like this with the wind in your face.” Again: hell yeah.

I’ve been on a couple of test runs on my newly purchased Abound SR ebike by Aventon and holy smokes am I in love. It’s smooth at every level - terrific pedal assist, easy to maneuver, and so fun to coast on using the motor function.
