This is inaccurate. There is no known vulnerability with Signal's core tech. The memo was discussing phishing attempts, which Signal has worked to mitigate. And it was hastily reported. It's important not to spread misinfo that can confuse people into moving away from meaningfully private comms.

Installed the Nuki Smart Lock Pro 5 today. It’s an awesome lock! I’m amazed by the difference compared to the 4 Pro—it’s smaller, faster, and has great build quality. And of course, seamless integration with @home-assistant.io with to Matter over Thread.

There is an article going around that ESP32 chips have a backdoor. It's an undocumented software API. If you are writing code for the ESP32, you can run more commands. It doesn't allow anyone from the outside to just access what's going on in the chip. The use of the word "backdoor" was clickbait 🫤
