Whatever you think you know about Bucks Fizz, this song is a belter. It’s off their last album in 1989 and way before the joy (not) that is autotune existed. And yes I am stone cold sober 🤣

Last night I cooked two dinners and instead of eating them both, I saved one for today. I have food ready to eat that I prepared yesterday instead of eating it all in one go. This is called personal growth and I don’t know myself anymore.

Things i have (stupidly, or was it) bought today: 1) a Bucks Fizz album that competes my collection (don’t judge me - have a listen to their album tracks. Amazeballs) 2) Banarama’s greatest hits on CD. Keep buying physical media kids. 3) a pair of yellow sunglasses. No idea why, I just liked them.

Good morning from not in the arse end of Wales.

Have to say, I do like to be taken for an early evening walk. I’m going to wear roller skates next time.

I’ve gone for a different view - a derelict hotel. However, fun fact: you see where that road’s going? Carry on up there for 3 miles and you get to a forest where a village once stood. My ancestors were causing carnage there 500yrs ago. Comforting to know I’m carrying on the family tradition .

This album ‘TIR’ by @cerysmatthews.bsky.social makes my soul sing. You don’t need to be Welsh to appreciate it - it’s a collection of traditional songs / hymns with Cerys and a guitar. It’s bloody lush, have a listen.

I haven’t this is years. Got it playing now and it’s just sublime. Perfect sitting in the garden tunes. Mad to think she released this in 2003; I wasn’t even born then.

I would ask if it’s too early but as it’s bank holiday the bar has extended opening hours. Rule Britannia!
