This is the second of mine and @ziggystairlift.bsky.social ´s buys from Librairie Ravy and was an absolute steal for 2 sides of absolute bangers! It’s The Temptations - The Temptations (Motown anniversary issue)

Next up for me and @buntybuntyness.bsky.social is this French pressing of the Christiane F soundtrack by Bowie. We bought it in a wacky 2nd hand record shop in Quimper called Ty Blurt (records were stacked all over the place including a pile in the middle of the floor)

A turn in the weather today meant a beautiful walk down to Sennen Cove for me and @ziggystairlift.bsky.social , it’s absolutely stunning with crystal clear sea and a golden soft beach. The walk back up was a test mind. 🤣 I am exceedingly pleased with the first photo.

There are some gigs that you just aren’t going to miss, and for me and @ziggystairlift.bsky.social this was one of them. BC Camplight at The Minack. Yes the weather was a bit grim and we got more than a bit wet, but, the setting is breathtaking and Brian was excellent.

Writing a song about getting my front door lock replaced. There’s a lovely key change at the end.

It’s sad to hear of his death but comforting that his enormous musical legacy will live on through his own music and that of the musicians that he influenced. RIP Brian Wilson. youtu.be/89ebJ0LFn4o?...

There are few musicians that can genuinely be called a genius, Brian Wilson was a musical genius in its truest and purest form. Me and @ziggystairlift.bsky.social had tickets to see him in 2022 at the Bridgwater Hall but sadly his health meant that the show was cancelled.
