Such a mixed week! Lots of underwhelming segues sandwiched between some amazing books! Good As Dead #1 scratches the itch, All three of us finally read 2000AD and unanimously agree it’s Our Shit, And our book club devours Superman’s Pal Jimmy Olsen!

Incredible episode! We talk about: Red Hood #1 (great!) Absolute Batman #12 (great!) Kryptonite Spectrum #2 (great!) Racer X #1 (huff) And Wes Craig’s Kaya vol 1 for our book club (I’ve prayed for books like this)!

Don’t be fooled by the episode title: there’s so much 2000AD talk in here, with a side of Absolute Batman! Our book club also continues with a dive into Bitter Root by Greene, Brown and Walker! (It’s exceptional)

Superman: The Kryptonite Spectrum is near perfect? True… @peposed.bsky.social’s Space Ghost #1 surprised us with its quality? Perhaps… Alan Moore’s Saga of the Swamp Thing run is maybe the best comics have ever been? You better believe it! All that and some losers talk about how good 2000AD is!

It’s just Chloe and Jake this week, so they take the opportunity to go HAM on their special interests (2000AD and Hellboy)! Also some more belter Batgirl, and Monkey Meat continues!
