a lot of people really don't understand that Hangmans stipulation only relies on his word. it's not a company stip. Hangman has to hold himself to it, not MJF or AEW. and breaking the stip will be his heel turn. fantasy booking a way for him to get around the stip would be terrible storytelling.

My thing as a hangman fan and I can't say how much of it is rational is I really do think he's meant to be a face deep down. I just think part of following this guy as the 'main character' is watching someone trying to do good, and even if he fails or backslides that should be at the core of him

2 years ago to the day that I started watching aew, and happened to start with beach break 2024 and hangman's return after suspension... Will he keep the tradition and return beach break 2026?? The first dynamite episode in maybe ever that I can actually watch live if I so choose?

I think it's this assumption that bc of wrestling's carny nature, everything must have some kind of back exit, be subject to a trick or a dusty finish. So the idea that the only thing standing in hangman's way is his own sense of honour and pride rather than an external obstacle is hard to grasp

One underrated aspect of DoN that I think contributed to it being overall such a great fun event - none of the matches were super long. World title going just under 25 mins and the stadium stampede just over 30 was just right. All the owen matches were snappy and sweet. #aew

Well! Other than the last few moments there were no surprises in that ppv for me whatsoever but I had a good time which is what matters. I think it's fine if aew is just this fun thing I tune into for good matches rather than a thing I'm staking my whole emotional wellbeing on

How I'm coping with the hangman hiatus 🤼

With any of the WWE releases, there is some juice to be squeezed with some matchups. The problem is AEW needs to avoid being a company that runs back history from WWE with too many ex-WWE acts, at the expense of fresh, underexposed wrestlers making their own history in AEW.

This and the surrounding weeks felt like a fever dream i never fujo'd so close to the sun and although I knew it was too good to be true I didn't expect it to be over so soon

The thing is that swerve is beautiful and amazing and he can literally do what he wants and if that includes tearing lovable babyfaces apart and terrorising their families I'm just gonna let him. #aew
