I read one book in September, A Dark and Drowning Tide by Allison Saft, a sapphic, academia, enemies-to-lovers. Does anyone else go in ‘seasons’? I’m moving from reading into work & hibernation mode. Some of this might be due to needing my next dose of Ocrevus, but this is also just how I work.

Have you actually kissed/been kissed where there was anyone’s tongue tracing the seam of anyone’s lips? I don’t think that’s ever happened to me, ever. It’s generally a two mouths open situation.

I struggle so much with this. On the one hand, I love to do it, hate my day job, and would love to have more spacetime for what feeds my soul. But making it my livelihood will add pressure and anxiety, and that would make it less authentic and lovable and less mine.

New hobby! I recently found this reusable clay in a box and decided to try a face. It looks nothing like the model, but I still very much love it!

To me, creativity is the core of humanity. I love the way people explore the world and their experiences, dreams and struggles through creative efforts, whether it’s marks on canvas or words on a page. Seeing the human spirit in something that has been labored over passionately? Priceless.
