I deleted the thread on emotional crash outs because I can say it more succinctly like this: Check on your emotionally reserved friends. A lot of us don't express distress openly and many people mistake that for invulnerability or hypercompetence. I find that especially true among trans people.

And when they DO occasionally talk to you directly, their voice pitches up and they use much simpler words and shorter sentences to make sure you can understand them @w@ It's never anything consequential, either. It's always things like "Are you having fun?" or "What do you have there?"

Being exclusively referred to as “the baby” by all your friends. Never directly spoken to, only talked about. Left to play with your toys while your friends plan their day around your needs… Everyone viewing you as a responsibility rather than an individual 🥴
