The shape of Moonshade's Guardian-killing knife made me wonder if it is some kind of Angel Weapon deal where it's tied to an element. If you mirror it, it kind of resembles Syndel's part 1 symbol, meaning it could be using Dark magic. That knife did first appear in Part 1. #SlightlyDamned

Boom babey. Is Syndel actually Drazil? A lot of evidence seems to go in this direction, even though the truth might still surprise us. It's too early to solve the plot, but I like theorycrafting. And even if it turns out wrong, I can still ship these two for funsies. I win either way >:3

I'm forgetting many but here's the gist of why Syndel = "Syndel" doesn't add up. There's also a chance I'm overthinking all of this, but...where's the fun in a story being straightforward? I like me some thinking exercise. Mokurynn one coming soon.

For the revisions, I might go the extra mile and translate *all* the on-screen text. It reached a point where it feels strange to only have half the signs, books etc be in French. Even if the text is illegible squiggles, the shape needs to be right. It's a whole process.

I love when puns write themselves. Rhéa says Kieri is from the "Angelic high sphere". "High sphere" means "high society", but a "sphere" is also a type of Angel hierarchy. It just falls into place on its own.

Following a stream bit, here's an excerpt of the upcoming* Slightly Damned Angelic translation. *i'm just been told that it's not upcoming anymore. apparently this font is a nightmare to format. sorry everyone.

Starting corrections. Will proceed to: -Check the pages for typos -Adjust lackluster bubble formats if needed -Properly format the doc to eventually use it as a transcript -Ideally, replace wip pages with proper cleanups I'm not in a hurry. The whole comic is already translated, this is secondary.

Update posted at 09:14am French translation sent off at 09:25am. Nice. Don't expect this in the future, but it was fun to see if I could.

I wonder if I can pull off a same-hour translation. I have the .mdp file prepared, so the moment the page drops, I just swap the image and bam, ready.

Not very motivated to work in the script/revisions. Might have more time by the week of the 9th.

More typos than I anticipated. There'll be a lot of pages to reupload, I feel, since there's also updated cleanup awaiting. I'll go through the whole script and 1) scan for typos, 2) rewrite it so that it can be used as a transcript eventually.

Part 11 is complete! That was the longest yet, babey. I made a bet that I could finish it before January 2025...and I did it before November 2024! :yippee: As of now, Part 12 is 45 pages. By current speed, I will reach current update Friday. And then I'll be bored as fuck from the stimulation loss.

I tried removing text from bothersome pages since there's a lot, but it's not the cleanest result ever. Waiting for professional removal is the best option at that point, since I don't want to alter the artwork too much.

Got time to clean up Part 12 up to current update today. Figured out how to do the parchment effect. Should be filling up Part 11 this weekend and next week.

ah fuck. I changed Kieri's "bee happy" shirt once, so now I gotta do it everywhere. And that's the part where she spends half the time in that shirt. I always hesitate whether to change text or not, but I prefer consistency.

Wanna try remaking the titles for the Part 9 and 10 chapter covers. If only to see whether I can.

Part 10 is finished, which means Book Five is complete! There's no book cover to redo, so I created a delightfully artistic substitute. Graphic design is my passion. (Disclaimer: not actual Book Five cover. Even if it looks really convincing.)

Scripting caught up to the latest update (Page 1137). Typesetting done up to Page 900. Expected time of completion for Part 10: Wednesday.

Scripting for Part 11 is complete. For Part 12, I might proceed in segments, or do things a little differently. We're not even 50 pages in so I can do it quickly enough. It depends on whether I choose to do scripting or typesetting tomorrow. I do want to catch up to the latest update tho.
