imagine we had elections tomorrow (on any level), and you were up to vote. when you go to vote, there's a candidate on the ballot from a party you aren't familiar with. there's also a card, with their name, photo, and a short bio. then, there's a section that reads "Political Platform". ↓

some of us weren't made to burn the ego to ashes. we were meant to forge it into fucking gold. to make it our sacred steed, our sparkle pony... not our saboteur. to tame its wildness with love, not whip it into submission with false purity.

men cannot force women to love them. but the ones who surrender their fear and choose to *become* love? they're seen. they're felt. not just by women, but by everybody. they're men who are healed, and know who they are. the whole world knows who they are.

we don't just use technology. we *entrain* with it. software is a mediator of human attention, emotion, and ultimately—behavior. our own emotional states subtly influence the way users feel when they interact with our code. (we feel this ourselves when we test and feel compelled to make changes)

friends, a loving reminder that the joy-to-trauma (and vice versa) slingshot you experience while scrolling is a VERY real thing. you're being slapped in the face without your consent a hundred or more times a day while scrolling social media. 🧵♥️
