I've just pressed send on another hopeful poetry competition entry. It's a proper pie in the sky one. I've worked hard on this and I know the sense of failure will be more intense because I've tried.I am proud of what I've made and I've also realised how much I protect myself through self-sabotage.

Instead of “once upon a time,” Korean folk and fairy tales often begin with 호랑이 담배 피우던 시절에. It means “back when tigers smoked (pipes)”
