I have read two more of his books & I’m currently reading King of Ashes. S.A. Cosby is an INCREDIBLE writer. The violence can get to me sometimes but it makes sense to the story and sometimes violence is necessary. #booksky

It is perfectly reasonable and, in fact, moral to be shaken, bereft and enraged by that woman’s murder. And all that her murder represents. Let the hurt wear you out. But also, let the hurt push you to reach out and connect with people in your life who get it. Do NOT allow the hurt to isolate you.

It’s been 2ish weeks since I quit smoking and I think I deserve to go to the bookstore to buy some books with the money I’ve saved from not smoking. This math makes sense to me.

Watched Frankenstein & overall I was entertained. Some of the changes made zero sense to me. While I did like some of Elizabeth’s changes, I wasn’t a big fan of Mia’s performance. Also wasn’t that blown away by Oscar either. 🤷‍♀️ Jacob was the best part!

Working on my very first mosaic crochet project. I’m enjoying it so far. I fully expect this to take me several weeks to finish.

My friend put together an event at her real estate office last night. The food was incredible. Tried toum for the first time & my garlic loving heart was in heaven. We got to make spell jars and complimentary tattoos were available. It was a good night.
