My son came over to help build an Ikea cabinet. He got here and said "let's just eat dinner and watch anime and I will come over tomorrow while you're at work and do the cabinet myself." He is being kind, but mostly avoiding my inevitable anxiety-ridden annoying commentary during building.

A dramatic day for this phlogiellus johnreylazoi tarantula. She got a much-needed rehousing, during which she threw paws several times. (Only a paintbrush was injured during this process.) Then she cowered, completely out of sorts. But then she got food and all else was forgotten!

4 years ago my daughter made a toilet paper roll tarantula for this brachypelma boehmei. I put it with her thinking it wouldn't last but she hid inside of it, stood on it and moved it all over. Today she decided she has outgrown it, so she threw it away in her water dish. Baby's growing up!
