We are pleased to announce that HGH is now reopened to serve the community. We lost quite a bit of equipment and supplies between looting and the theater disaster, however the HGH staff is nothing if not resilient and resourceful. Thank you to FDH for pumping us out so we could resume operations!

Storm just passed. City’s wrecked, people still need us. 3 days after a collapse, it's unreasonable to expect FDH to stop rescue and recovery to play blame games. Reviews will come, but right now our job’s keeping folk alive. We don’t do knee-jerk conclusions-we wait until the damn facts are in.

It would be nice if instead of people pointing fingers and trying to assign blame for the destruction caused by a hurricane, people actually just asked, 'What can we do to help?' I guess people are just funny that way.
