Today our client Ellen Clifford is in the High Court, challenging the DWP over a rushed and disingenuous consultation that was held on reforms tightening the #WorkCapabilityAssessment. If these reforms go ahead, more than 400,000 people will be worse off by £416 a month.

Deaf and Disabled people should have been consulted fairly and lawfully on this very serious matter, but proposed reforms were not adequately explained. We are also arguing that the real motivation was to cut disability benefits, which was not disclosed by the Government.
