Ugh! I’m getting so frustrated trying to find an alternative to TVTime now that it’s closing. I’ve tried several and kind of hate all of them 🙃

Kisy cat has decided in her old age that being picked up isn’t that bad, actually it’s quite nice. Used to be that if I picked her up she’d suddenly transform into some sort of wriggly eel creature until she escaped. But now I pick her up and she just settles down to have a nap in my arms!

Went outside to put some stuff in our wheelie bins and there was a little kid walking down the road enthusiastically singing Sk8er Boi to themself. It gave me a good chuckle 😂

Because I moved my furniture a bunch of stuff on the walls had to come down and it’s just been sat in a pile with stuff I never actually put up so I spent the afternoon making the wall next to my door into a display wall. I think it turned out pretty good. And I only hit myself with a hammer once!

Hadn’t gotten Luna dog a new toy in a while so I picked one up for her while we were getting our groceries. She’s so funny, just trotting around the house with it in her mouth, looking so proud of her new baby 😂

Is there anything in the world softer than that little patch of fluffy perfection behind a cat’s ears because I can’t imagine such a thing. It’s so soft 😭

I just counted ten separate bruises on my legs from carrying something up the stairs the other day 🙃 silly body.

Went outside for five minutes to water my mum’s flowers and now need to lie under a fan for an hour. It’s 8pm, why is it still this hot! 😭 I miss winter.

My mum loves the sun and I swear every time she goes on holiday in the uk we get a heatwave. Every time she goes abroad however it’ll be sunny there but it’ll rain the whole time here and stop when she returns. She’s currently on holiday in the uk with my nan. Basically my mum might be a witch 😂

Sorting through my mystery/ thrillers as I near the end of my book reorganisation and found someone’s food diary from 2007 which they’d used as a bookmark. They had spag bol, garlic bread and jelly and ice cream for dinner. Nice. Whoever you were, I hope you worked out what was causing the bloating.

Aaaaaaaand Kisy cat has a tumour on her lip. It’s not hurting her or stopping her from eating so just going to monitor it for now, and I wouldn’t want to put her through anything serious at her age anyway. But just having the crushing realisation that this might be the thing that takes her from me 😭

Tennis cats have been fun to draw! I've watched some of Queens but it's Wimbledon that I really love to watch. Not long to go now :D

I have obtained a new bookcase which I am now far too tired to build, and my mum bought me a little Blåhaj 🦈 🏳️‍⚧️ outing successfully completed.

Ugh. Just spent an hour at the vet, Kisy cat lost weight again and her heart murmur has gotten worse so they want to check her thyroid but then she was too stressed to take her bloods which is also a sign of thyroid so we’ve got some gabapentin to make her calmer when she has to go back in a week.

Sigh. As sad as I am that we’ll have to wait much longer for new Doctor Who it also feels like it’s probably for the best in the long run. As much as I loved Ncuti’s era they really did him dirty at the end and the show is clearly in need of some new blood. And hey, there’s always Big Finish! 🙃

Oh fuck, not Anthony Head! 😭 Celebrity deaths don’t often get to me but this one hurts, Buffy was properly formative for me and was something me and my sister bonded over. And everything I’ve ever heard about him was that he was also just a great person. Damn. He will most certainly be missed.

Ugh, getting a new bank card is such a bloody faff! And these days even though half the stuff gets automatically updated, half of it doesn’t so you still have to go and check everything because you don’t know what will and what won’t and you still have to do manually. Uuuuuugggggh!

I am in a significant amount of pain but my bookcases are starting to look like mine again and my house is only mostly covered in piles of books rather than entirely covered 😂

Have spent the last five days moving all of the books out of my room so I could clean and rearrange and decided I wanted to create a book corner. I already love it. Kisy cat however has decided that that is enough of that, I have to stay and cuddle her, she climbed up onto my chest and won’t budge 🙃

I continue to receive photos of cats, the occasional dog, and now a bonus peacock 😂🦚

I have managed to walk into the same table corner that I also walked into yesterday, hitting the exact same spot on my knee which was already bruised and painful 😬 0/10, would not recommend.

My mum has her priorities correct. She’s away on holiday for a few days and is sending me photos of the cats she sees.

Sometimes I buy a book because I like the author, or the synopsis sounds interesting, or someone recommended it, or I read the first paragraph and liked the writing. And sometimes I take one look at the cover and just go yes, I require this. 🪓🐻

My sister was just here to collect my spaniel niblings and was like “I got you a present, do you want a dragon or a dinosaur?” which is basically an autistic Sophie’s Choice and I must have had such a look of panicked indecision on my face that now I have a dragon AND a dinosaur 😂

Leave me and my basket of “I’m definitely 100% gonna get to these really soon” books that I put on my bedside table a year ago and still haven’t read alone! And also don’t look at any other flat surface in the room. Definitely not also stacks of books there! 😬

I took Kisy cat’s collar off the other day since it was getting a bit tatty and now every time I look at her my brain goes “omigosh baby you’re naked!” 😂

Epic the musical is getting an animated movie?! Oh yeah, I’m going to be insufferable when that comes out, just to warn you all 😂

Looking after my spaniel niblings while my sister and her husband are away for a few weeks. It took Willow two walks to go from nervously backing away every time I got near to pestering me to pick her up as soon as she sees me and jumping on my lap the second I sit down 🙃 guess I’ve been accepted!
