I continue to receive photos of cats, the occasional dog, and now a bonus peacock 😂🦚

Sometimes I buy a book because I like the author, or the synopsis sounds interesting, or someone recommended it, or I read the first paragraph and liked the writing. And sometimes I take one look at the cover and just go yes, I require this. 🪓🐻

My sister was just here to collect my spaniel niblings and was like “I got you a present, do you want a dragon or a dinosaur?” which is basically an autistic Sophie’s Choice and I must have had such a look of panicked indecision on my face that now I have a dragon AND a dinosaur 😂

Leave me and my basket of “I’m definitely 100% gonna get to these really soon” books that I put on my bedside table a year ago and still haven’t read alone! And also don’t look at any other flat surface in the room. Definitely not also stacks of books there! 😬

This absolute donut of a dog! She’s been rolling around in one of the chairs in our conservatory, you could hear the static electricity crackling, and then she sat up with her hair looking like she’d just been electrocuted 😂

I took Kisy cat’s collar off the other day since it was getting a bit tatty and now every time I look at her my brain goes “omigosh baby you’re naked!” 😂

Looking after my spaniel niblings while my sister and her husband are away for a few weeks. It took Willow two walks to go from nervously backing away every time I got near to pestering me to pick her up as soon as she sees me and jumping on my lap the second I sit down 🙃 guess I’ve been accepted!

Just assembled my mum’s new lawn mower for her and yep, there is no rage like the “WHO THE HELL DESIGNED THIS AND WERE THEY A SADIST?!” rage of following instructions that are ever so slightly vague, have pictures that are too dark to see properly, and apparently think humans have seven hands each 🙃

Went to put the kettle on and there is just a bag of my used up empty inhalers on the kitchen counter 🙃

Off to see The Magic Faraway Tree with mum 😁 I was OBSESSED with Enid Blyton’s books as a child and I inherited that from my mum so we are both quite excited haha.

Mum found a piggy bank full of pennies she’d forgotten about so of course I had to be very autistic about it and organise them all. It’s super interesting to see how the design changed over the decades, the queen aging but also becoming more like a real person.

It’s 1pm and I’ve only just realised the reason I’ve been so confused about what time it is for the past hour is because the clocks changed so half of them say one thing and the other half say something else 🙃 Doing this three days before April Fool’s Day feels like an autistic hate crime.

Growing up in High Wycombe we got taken on an exciting visit to the chair museum to learn about chairs. We also went to West Wycombe to see the golden ball and the Hellfire Caves, and learn about the Hellfire Club.

Just got back from the vet with Kisy, (she’s all good, weight stable, all thumbs up) and instead of being mad at me and ignoring me or demanding bribery in the form of dreamies she just yelled at me for a cuddle, climbed up on my chest and purred 🙃 what.

Kisy cat has worked out that if she sticks her claws into the bit of kitchen towel I put under her decoy mug of water she can manoeuvre it to a more comfortable drinking position. It is very cute. She’s so clever.

Kisy cat just did the slow motion head flop as she fell asleep. Cats are the best.

I have finally put away my Christmas presents instead of just having a massive and totally not inconvenient gift bag next to my bed that I’ve nearly fallen over about fifty times 🙃 I mean it’s only… the end of February.

It’s cold so I thought I would have some nice hot tomato soup for lunch. Apparently I forgot that Kisy cat is a little weirdo and is obsessed with tomato soup. Silly animal keeps trying to stick her face in it.

Spoiler for Bleak House I guess but pretty famously there’s a death by spontaneous combustion. I just read that bit and ew it’s so gross! 😂 the build up to the discovery is like its so smoky, is someone cooking chops they smell bad, why is this soot so fatty, what’s this gross yellow stuff dripping?

Was giving Kisy cat her daily tablet with some chicken and looked up to see that Luna has become a horror movie character.

Kisy cat’s favourite place to sleep is curled up on the blanket next to me, pressing her back against my leg, my arm wrapped around her so she can use my fingers as a pillow. It’s so stinkin’ cute. Means I have to do everything one handed until she wakes up but, yeah, totally worth it.

Kisy cat isn’t generally a big fan of any treats that aren’t dreamies or lick-e-lix but I randomly bought her some cat lollipops and she LOVES them. It’s adorable. But stinky. Very stinky.

Ironically the thing making me anxious right now is trying to get my anxiety meds. Tried to send in my prescription last week only for it to be like haha, it needs a review! But then you can’t get through to the gp, next appointment is in two weeks, and an emergency prescription might take 4 days 🙃
