Ending a week of fine short stories with Samuel R. Delany’s ‘Driftglass’, a tale concerning humans who have been biologically modified to live & work in the ocean depths. A fine character study & all rather beautifully written - amazing to think that this story ranks amongst his earliest work.

This is another book that you absolutely should read. An amazing near-future setting with an even more amazing setting nested within it.
