Nio has really big problem here because their swapping system demands standardisation so the batteries can fit different vechicles. The swapping stations also demand big upfront investment. New BYD's flash chargers are usable by all cars, and the extreme charging speeds makes swapping unneccessary.

Good article about Nio vs BYD, that is swapping vs flashcharging. But this quote about "400 km in 5 min" is seen a lot again and is one year old. The Denza Z9GT have 1000km range. Charges 60% of the battery in 5 min. You do the math.

I think even more important will be the reveal of the charging curves. As cars with smaller batteries and far lower peak power will also charge full in 9 min. They probably reach peak very fast and hold on until the very end.
