Happy Wednesday. put my daughter on the plane back to Vancouver this morning. Mia is exhausted. We had a family gathering and she got to play with my brothers two year-old black lab and she had a lot of time at long-term care. Today Starla is walking in town with her daddy and has agility.

Well, I’ve got our trip to the boat planned. didn’t know if I’d ever be able to go back but feel like it might be OK. going to spend a week also on the West Coast of the island and one of the other islands then drive home seeing some old sites and exploring some new ones. Leave here end of August.

Also, this afternoon received a reading from the animal communicator a lovely friend and woman she is she refused to charge me said my homework will be to follow up with Starla. Really trust this woman she’s an amazing communicator and I think we are in good hands going forward.

Well, we had a good day today. Started at 5 AM waking up to see Starla licking Mia on the face.🥰 then lots of catch and play and my brother brought his two-year-old lab over to play with Starla who went for a walk with Fraser while I took Mia too long-term care and the pet store. 🥰❤️

She’s under the coffee table on the shelf on the princess deck. It’s like a giant pipe pen. It’s so cute because Lola also used to sit there took her to long-term care to see Mom and the other residence and she was a huge hit. Lots of play outside and Starla seems to be much better.

Having some real problems with Starla being very, very aggressive toward the puppy it’s pretty scary. Now that we’re home, Starla does not want the puppy on the bed. She does not want her approaching her. Connected with a very experienced animal communicator will do a session with Starla.

Well, one night until our life changes forever and feeling a lot of weird unexpected emotions. Had a 2500 km trip down unexpectedly so much grief for our Browns. Did not expect to feel this way that we would feel mostly anticipation for Mia. I feel a mixture of anticipation and grief and hope.

Well, tomorrow was the big day we pick Mia up at 10 AM and start the adventure home❤️‍🩹😍 Our baby is going to be a big sister❤️

Well, the trailer is mostly packed done a ton of cooking. Got a specialist appointment tomorrow afternoon, then we will takeoff to pick up Mia on Saturday in Calgary with a few days on the road in between visiting family and friends and doing some hiking. We will take pictures. Starla much improved.

Well, I think I have shingles😳😒 on a positive note, though Starla is not limping as much anymore

Well, Starla has a sore paw from our camping trip, which is a drag because we are planning this hiking trip next week when we leave to drive down the Alaska Highway to pick up Mia hopefully it heals quickly. It’s so sad to see her limping and not herself. 😒She is normally such a joyful dog.

Starla is an agility seminar with dad. crazy busy visiting my friend in hospital and my mom in care. heat wave so we are headed to the lake to camp for a couple of days. Then Fraser flies down to look after the boat since I decided I couldn’t do it. one week Monday we leave to get Mia. Road trip❤️❤️

Need a nap. Day started at 4:30 let Starla out and she immediately chases down and grabs a bunny in the yard😱😡I screamed and she ran off with it but Fraser ran off to her and apparently she did let it go. Not accustomed to having a high drive dog.😜

this is really gonna be really fun for Starla. I remember when I brought Eris home to Koda they had the best summer ever. It was nonstop play nonstop him teaching her.

Was just wondering about Koda and Iris’s mom. I haven’t heard anything from them in a while. I just checked her page and there’s nothing there for a month and seems like she had some health issues. Hopefully she’s OK. Anybody know?

Was texting Bill yesterday, told him about Mia. worried he would be disappointed knew that he’s very committed to fostering and adoption. Explained when Molly and Lola died so close together, felt the light had gone out of my life. I hope he understood🥹

From Saturday, beautiful but so cold😱. Starla is lonely we feel she definitely needs a companion in her life and this will be happening very soon.🥰
